The end of Christmas Day

This has been one the best Christmas days ever! I woke up with my girlfriend, had a cuppa and a mince pie for breakfast and opened some amazing presents!

We then watched Shrek on TV and then wandered over to my parents house and had an awesome Christmas dinner, then only to find out that we'd got even more presents to open!

We stayed for 5 hours doing my favourite thing at Christmas; Drinking and playing cards and yahtzee.

I'm now sitting at home, watching Speed, having a cuppa again and eating chocolate. I also managed to work out how to use my telescope properly and I think I can locate any object in the sky now, which is great!

Well, it's now 23.39 and I hope everyone has had a very Merry Christmas and will have an awesome New Year.

Christmas is coming!

Now, I'm not usually one to get all Christmasy until the day itself. But for some reason, this year I'e found myself liking the snow and making a point of setting up the Christmas tree properly and getting a sense of satisfaction and enjoyment when it's all been set up.

Actually, I'm starting to feel more and more excited each day and I'm 26 for gods sake! I've got all my presents ready and I can't wait to make the Christmas dinner and also eat the one my mum has prepared as well.

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Champions League Draw

[bodytext]

('DiggThis')

Well, you knew it would happen. We've got AC Milan vs Man Utd and Inter Milan against Chelsea.

This could mean the return of David Beckham to play against the team where he made his name and created so many golden moments in English football.

We've also got the brilliant Jose Mourinho against Chelsea. He led them to two league titles an FA Cup and two Leagues Cups before resigning in 2007.

For me, this is one of many things that makes football brilliant and it confirms again that the Champions League is one of the best football tournaments in the world.

So I'll be in the Friary in Derby on 16 February 2010, where will you be?

The Importance of "So's Yer Face"

I'm sure on many occasions, your mates will insult you, either with good reason or for no reason whatsoever just for shits and giggles. I used to try and reply with some sort of witty comeback.

Recently I've found a clever (and also stupid way round this). What I've discovered is the phrase "So's Yer Face", meaning when someone calls you a name or gives you an insult, you respond with "So's Yer Face".

Let's create a real world example. My mate Walford may occasionally call me an "Assmonkey" and instead of me thinking of anything special, I instantly reply with "So's Yer Face". This causes great confusion and disaray in my friends mind and also makes him feel upset as he managed to come up with a somewhat "clever" insult and I come back with such a "clever and mindboggling" response, he's not sure when to go with it.

You can also create further confusion by waiting until someone mentions something normal like "I don't like pizza" and you say, "So's Yer Face". Or for an even better result, you do a witty adaption and say "Your face doesn't like pizza".

Anyway, I'm a complete idiot but also possibly the founder of quick social confusion.

Hows it goin?

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I'm proud to present my new blog, Awesome Douchebag. I'm gonna try and write anything random that comes into my mind. The title Awesome Douchebag is just something I thought of as I use the phrase quite frequently in my day to day life. It's kind of hard to explain, but I'm sure you'll realise it's meaning throughout the life of this blog.

Hopefully, I'm pretty sure that I can post reguarly and talk about some things that may interest you. Then again, I might occasionally use this as a stage to vent some of my possibly offensive opinions about life and the way things work.

I'm interested in many things in this world, so watch this space and wicked things may or may not happen...
